If you don’t have the luxury of visiting a yoga studio every day, YouTube gives you free online access to a whole host of classes and tutorials hosted by experts providing you with yoga-related videos in the palm of your hand. So what are you waiting for? Here are our top five channels to bookmark for when you get the urge to practise.
Yoga with Adriene
We love everything about Adriene Mishler’s YouTube channel. If you’ve ever googled online yoga YouTube tutorials, the chances are she will have dominated the search results and with her authentic 4.2 million following and easy to follow sessions, it’s not hard to see why. Founded in 2012, her channel boasts diversity, there is something for every yogi here from energising morning routines, to back pain busting routines and there’s poses for every age and ability. Our favourite thing about Adriene’s channel is that doing one of her tutorials feels like practising yoga with a friend.
A great YouTube channel for beginners, Fightmaster Yoga is proof that you don’t have to be perfect to enjoy practising yoga. The yoga tutorials put a focus on the importance of completing your practise each day rather than having perfect posture, balance and flexibility. Their 30 and 60 minute sessions are designed to build your confidence, increase your strength and fuel your passion for yoga.
This channel is run by husband and wife duo Juliana Semenova & Mark Spicoluk who have built a successful lifestyle brand covering not just yoga but tutorials on all aspects of health and wellbeing. What sets this channel apart from the rest is the breathtakingly beautiful locations in which they film their yoga sessions. This YouTube channel is worth subscribing to if you like a heavy dose of wanderlust with your yoga workout. The pair really bring a new dynamic to the world of online yoga tutorials and you get to learn about their personal journey as well as creating your own.
Yoga with Tim
If you like a yoga challenge, you’ll love Yoga with Tim. One of the smaller channels, Yoga with Tim posts new tutorials on a weekly basis and creates 30 day challenges that are ideal if you want to kick-start your yoga journey and stay motivated throughout. We particularly adore his chakra series. He often uses a model to demonstrate poses and he’s relatable with an awesome sense of humour that give his videos a relaxed and friendly vibe.
